Luftwaffe FLAK 'Schützenschnur' 6th Grade

Luftwaffe FLAK Shooting Lanyard (Schützenschnur) 6th Grade (6.Stufe). The 1st to 4th grade lanyards are made of twisted bluish-grey with interwoven aluminum threads whereas the 5th till 8th grade are made of twisted aluminum thread with interwoven bluish-grey threads. This is an aluminum thread with interwoven bluish-grey threads example having one aluminum artillery shell attached indicating the 6th grade as intended for a soldier within the Anti-Aircraft Artillery (FLAK). The aluminum shield is mounted on a rosette base in the same material as the lanyard with a stitched on, protective, Luftwaffe blue/grey wool backing. This lanyard would look great when re-attached to a Luftwaffe FLAK tunic or 'Waffenrock'. The lanyard is in very good condition with light age and usage toning. Rare and hard to find original lanyard in very good condition.
