French WWI Infantry Officers Kepi, 152nd Regiment

Original era manufacture. Fine quality, kepi in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. Red wool top with a dark blue wool cap band. Gold wire decoration around the body of the hat, around the top edge with a quatrefoil at top.Black patent leather visor with a bound edge, simple gold brocade chinstrap secured by two brass bursting bomb buttons.The sweatband and the black silk lining remains, with some loose stitching present on the sweatband.  Scattered mothing as shown with some staining to the wool body, however the hat presents very well.
