German WWII Steel Identity Tag, Field Recovered, SS-Pzr Gren

Original era issue. This interesting tag was purchased by Terri & I about 20 years ago on a trip to Germany. On our return we sold it to a local collector, who in turn, sold it back to us this past summer. We purchased the tag from a reliable source who told us it had been recovered in a 1945 surrender site outside of Berlin. Being steel it is heavily corroded but SS Pzr Gren can be easily made out.
