Rare sheet brass cap badge with two wire loops to the reverse worn by the Karoo Schutters. A figure swimming in the water towards a ship, to the centre of an oval bearing motto scrolls,'Non Sibi Sed' and 'Patriae' and flanked by the letters 'KS'.[See Owen's book item 1755]
