US WWI 'False Embroidered' Captain's Rank Insignia, Pair

Original period manufacture. Matched pair of frosted silver finish, full size insignia in the rank of Captain. This style has been referred to as false embroidery, due to the decoration on the tops of the rank bars. Pinback reverse, each measuring 25 x 27 mm. Unused, storage wear only.
