Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet, Star K, Rubberized Scabbard

Original era manufacture. Rubberized canvas scabbard with attached frog, and a later war manufacture, Star K proofed bayonet.Straight guard, flat bird-head pommel, non-contour wooden grips and a blade made without fullers. Faded blue finish to the blade with considerable scattered areas of surface corrosion on each side.Sound original finish wooden grips displaying light marring and denting, steel patina finish to the pommel and guard.Basically sound rubberized canvas scabbard with integral frog, stitching and rivets are present, with typical breaks in the fabric of the belt loops.
