Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet, Mukden Arsenal

Original period manufacture. A hooked guard bayonet manufactured in the Manchurian Mukden Arsenal for the Imperial Army. Steel patina finished blade, hooked guard, rounded bird-head pommel, contoured wood grips and an all steel scabbard. The blade is clean with clear arsenal markings, the grips have been cleaned and show typical dings and dents from handling, with some chipping in evidence around the screw escutcheons. The steel patina finish scabbard shows denting, making the blade a little difficult to draw.
