SFP Armband with Fire Guard Overlay.

Printed cotton ' SFP ' armband for use by Supplementary/Street Fire Parties as issued from August 1940. The reorganisation and subseqent renaming of the Fire Guard in 1941 caused the issue of another armlet, in the interests of economy, a printed overlay was issued for stitching over the original symbol. In good used condition with seams lifted allowing viewing of the original armband.
