WVS ARP lapel badge.

Chrome and enamel pinback badge for Women's Voluntary Services ARP. This badge was announced in 1938 issued for WVS volunteers who had undertaken ARP training, it was quickly superceded the following year by a new design. Designed as a lapel badge it is commonly seen as a hat badge. This example in good, clean condition with minor abrasions which look a lot worse under magnification and lighting.
