1941 Death over Haggerston 'An Account of Adventures that Befell some East Londoners between the Summers of 1940 and 1941' by Herbert Wilson. 157pgs with a few topical chapter heading illustrations. Wilson was vicar of Haggerston parish at the time and wrote what was described as badly written, but the only book to show “any real critical appreciation of the working-class mind in these astonishing months.” Good, used condition and in common with most examples has a fragile spine to integral d/w, contents clean.
