Description

Early, silvered and enamel lapel badge for the Observer Corps by Phillips of Aldershot. On issue from 1929 to recognise Observers who had no uniform and who had been awarded certificates of proficiency. Superceded in 1941 on the change of title to 'Royal Observer Corps'. In good, used condition, patinated with slight wear to highpoints.
