KRIEGSMARINE BOATSWAIN NCO'S CAREER SLEEVE INSIGNIA

The insignia consists of a roughly, 3 1/2', (9 cm), tall, 2 3/4', (7 cm), wide, vertically oval, navy blue wool base with a hand embroidered, vertical, fouled anchor in bright, golden yellow rayon threads. The reverse of the insignia still has it’s original, protective, black oilcloth backing intact. The insignia is in overall quite good condition with minor age and usage toning and nap wear and some minor fraying to the outer edges of the navy blue wool base.
