Spain : Spanish Civil War 1939 Victory Medal.

A 1936-39 Spanish Civil War bronze Victory Medal (33mm dia) for Franco's nationalist forces complete with original Spanish-style pin-back ribbon suspension bar. The obverse illustrates a winged angel of Victory above the inscription '18 JULIO 1936 ALZAMEINTO', The reverse shows three marching soldiers with the inscription '1 ABRIL 1939 VICTORIA', This bronze medal was awarded to enlisted ranks whilst officers received a silver version. Excellent condition.
