Spain : War-time / Fascist-era Steel Helmet Modelo Z 42.

This helmet pattern was introduced in 1942 and used throughout the Spanish Fascist Franco-era. It closely follows the German Stahlhelm design. This example is complete with its original first-pattern leather liner and chin-strap in excellent condition.. The front of the helmet has the characteristic bracket for fixing the brass parade Spanish eagle emblem on the front. Sadly the bracket has been flattened for some reason. No visible maker markings or stamps. The smooth olive-green original paintwork is in excellent condition.
