Description

Original era manufacture. A nice little set, which honors the memory of German born Daniel Miller, 1843-1910, who served as a Sergeant in Company C, 106th Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. Included is his identified CDV, 8 GAR medals, two of which are identified to the 106th OVI, and another being an Army of the Cumberland reunion medal dated 1897. A folder with eleven pages of printed online information regarding Miller and the 106th OVI. During the war, the 106th suffered the loss of 30 officers and men to combat, and an additional 22 to disease.
