In a very good condition a Bronze Medal 'For Merit on the Field of Glory' The Medal of Merit on the Field of Glory as a war decoration was established by the order of the commander of the 1st Tadeusz Kościuszko Infantry Division, Brig. Gen. Zygmunt Berling. The exact date of its establishment is unknown, but it should be assumed that it was established at the end of October or at the beginning of November 1943, because the first to receive the medals were the participants of the Battle of Lenino, and the award took place on the occasion of the Independence Day celebrations organized in the units of the 1st Corps of the Polish Armed Forces in the USSR on November 14, 1943, the order to award it was dated November 11, 1943. This medal was then approved by the decree of the Polish Committee of National Liberation of December 22, 1944 as a military medal
