Die struck bronze larger example with two of three original loops remaining and J R Gaunt / Montreal tablet to reverse. Touch of verdigris to right side of scroll. Otherwise in very good condition. As worn by this reserve regiment from 1911.The Canadian Light Horse regiment in WW1 was formed by volunteers from the Royal North West Mounted Police, the 1st Hussars, the 16th Light Horse, and the 19th Alberta Dragoons, with each unit wearing its own badges.Cox No 307 refers.Comm BoHa (501)
