German Post WWII, Hand Painted Sports Car Sign

Original period manufacture. This little sign has hung on the wall of our garage for many years, Terri and I have always had an interest in vintage cars, both of British and German manufacture. The basic gist I believe is pay attention while you are driving, ' Better take your time on earth and don't race through the swarming mind friend, it's not far from the car to heaven'.  Anyway, it's in it's original gold painted wood frame, the lettering and car are all hand done, small moisture stain in the upper right corner. Measures 7.5 x 5.5 inches.
