Dutch-made NSKK Officer's Visor Cap

Dutch-made NSKK Officer's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze für Offiziere). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is privately purchased NSKK Gruppe Luftwaffe Officer's visor cap, the sweatdiamond is not visible marked. The cap is constructed of typical Dutch wool and having a typical smooth black center band. The cap is having the silver piping for officers. The cap is complete with its original hand-embroidered officer's type cocarde and a zinc type NSKK cap eagle. The cap is in only showing normal traces of usage and some minor damage, the leather sweatband is partly loose. Extremely rare original NSKK visor cap in good used condition!
