French WWII Aluminum Messkit, 1938, French POW Trench Art

Original era manufacture. A 1938 dated French issue aluminum messkit with soldier art on all sides and the top of the lid. The art is of high quality showing roses, leaves and a pretty French girl. Evidently the soldier was held in the POW camp at Ludwigsburg Germany in 1940.
