French 2nd Empire Officers Gorget, Franco-Prussian War Era

Original era manufacture. A handsome gilded brass gorget, with a silver Imperial eagle, lined with blue velvet on the reverse. Complete with both bullion wire buttons and wire attaching loops. Normal age and wear, no damage. From our own collection.
