US Indian Wars, M1887 45-70 Carbine Boot, Rock Island Arsenal

Original era manufacture. A sound example with its brass reinforced throat, with all straps and fittings. Rock Island marked on the right side top of the boot, leather surface shows age but pliable, with a nice sheen to the leather. It has not been oiled, the surface is clean and dry.
