Japanese WWII Late War Type 30 Bayonet Jinsen Mfg

Original era manufacture. Square pommel, straight guard, no contour wooden grips with an even steel patina finished, later pattern blade without fullers, rather crude in construction with file marks visible. Clear Jinsen arsenel proof on the ricasso, with a general unfinished look to the blade surface, typical for this late pattern bayonet. The grips are unfinished with light denting and marring from age and use. The two piece wooden scabbard shows a simple lacquered finish with a squared off tip. It is bound in two places and has a metal scabbard loop at the throat. No throat screw (sometimes these were produced without them) with a thin crack in the scabbard body. Scarce late pattern bayonet.
