German Franco-Prussian War CDV, NCO, EK2, IR 94

Original era photography. A very clear image of a well-decorated army NCO, possibly from Infantry Regiment Groherzhog von Sachsen (5.Thringisches) Nr.94 (Sachsen-Weimar). He wears on his chest a four place medal bar consisting of the following; 1870 Iron Cross 2nd Class, 1870-71 Campaign Medal, 1866 War Cross and Saxe-Weimar Service Medal with Swords. Good research potential for the soldier. Merseburg photographers logo on the reverse.
