French 19th Century, Wooden Cased Compass

Original era manufacture. A nice quality 19th century French made compass, which resides nicely in a fitted wood case. Turned metal compass with a blue steel needle. There is a small stop on the top of the inner body which sticks a little, otherwise the compass works just fine. Case measures 3 x 3 x 1.25 inches. Two small brass securing latches on one side
