French Model 1831 Infantry Short Sword, Paris

Original era manufacture. Brass handled, Gladius type short sword with a clean blade. Bright surface showing minor scattered age mottling with no major corrosion issues, few nicks in the edge on one side. Sound black leather bodied scabbard with a brass throat and chape. Maker marked on the blade and scabbard body.
