M40 Czech reissued tan colored steel helmet EF64

Very interesting post-war (ca.1947) reissued German M35 steel helmet for the Czech army. These helmets are getting hard to find as collectors use to strip the paint down and use them for parts and restoration of WW2 helmet. Many German helmets were bought/confiscated by the Czechs after the war, the helmets were issued to their army. All helmets were repainted in tan/sand color. They used new old stock for liners and chin straps. This helmet remains complete with a genuine 1943 dated liner and late war chin strap. A very nice untouched Czech helmet! Marked E.F.64 – 135.
