Luftwaffe fighter clasp in gold (Frontflug-Spange für Jäger in gold) by Rudolf Souval. Zinc construction with soldered on set up and riveted arrow device. Unmarked, no repairs, no other damage.Early post-war Souval manufacturing. Gold finish faded.These badges were producedafter 1945 by the Souval company. It was intended for German veterans to re-buy a cross in case theirs was lost or stolen. These crosses were still worn at veteran meetings, hence the conclusion, that even if it comes from the veteran itself, he might have bought it himself after the war as a second piece to wear.
