US WWII USAAF Aircrew M4A2 Flak Helmet

Original era manufacture. OD cloth covered steel helmet with folding ear covers. Issued to USAAF bomber crews for protection against enemy Flak and Fighters during WWII. Scattered wear to the cloth covering, the leather chinstrap has its attaching buckle, and is full length, although dry from age, with the tip hanging on by a thread.
