Dutch Shelter Half CM1939

Rare original Dutch Shelter Quarter (Tentzeil) or actually tent half. Every soldier was equipped with one shelter half, one tent pole and three herrings. The square shaped shelter quarter is made of tightly woven grey/green coloured cotton drill. The shelter quarter is having brass grommets and buttons, it is complete with original rope. The shelter quarter is showing some normal traces of usage and some little spots, one of the leather loops has been damaged. The shelter quarter is nicely marked and dated with 'CM 1939' (Centraal Magazijn). Hard to find original shelter half in very good condition.
