Description

Dutch 'Persoonsbewijs' (Civil Identification Card) Grouping. The Dutch 'Persoonsbewijs' was an identity card that was introduced by the Dutch secretaries general at the insistence of the German occupying forces during the Second World War. In April 1941, all Dutch people aged fifteen and older were required to hold an identity card. These ID-cards belonged to 'Christiaan Frederik Wansleeben' and his wife 'Johanna Wilhelmina van Nugteren' from the citys of Rotterdam and Schiedam and were issued to them in 1941. They lived in Schiedam and Haarlem during the war. Included with the set are 6 Food distribution cards. Nice original set in good used condition!
