Description

Dutch 'Persoonsbewijs' (Civil Identification Card). The Dutch 'Persoonsbewijs' was an identity card that was introduced by the Dutch secretaries general at the insistence of the German occupying forces during the Second World War. In April 1941, all Dutch people aged fifteen and older were required to hold an identity card. This ID-card belonged to 'Simon Berrevoet' from the city of Amsterdam and was issued to him on 29 May 1941. Simon Berrevoet was a second lieutenant in the Dutch Army before the war with (army service number: 101319000). Nice original ID Card in good used condition!
