WH (Heer) Administrative Official's Visor Cap

WH (Heer) Administrative Official's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze für einen Wehrmachtsbeamten). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is a nice privately purchased example. The celluloid manufacturers sweat-diamond ('Raute') is present and nicely maker marked marked by the famous 'Erel' company, this is a cap in the 'Extra' class. The cap has no visible size markings, the cap is approximately a size 56. The leather sweatband is in very good condition and matching marked by 'Erel'. The Visor cap is piped in the darker green 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for administrative (Heeresverwaltung) personnel. The cap is complete with it's original early aluminum cap-eagle and hand-embroidered cocarde. The cap is having an officer's type chinstrap. The cap is in very good slightly worn condition showing minimal traces of usage, see photos. The cap is having a great saddle shape (Sattelform). Stunning original visor cap in very good condition!
