DD M40 Polizei Combat Helmet Q64

Double Decal M40 'Polizei' Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M40). The stamped sheet steel construction M40 helmet retains almost all of its fieldgrey paint, the paint is showing scratches and normal traces of usage. Both decals are in very good condition with some minor damage and scratches caused by usage, both decals are present for about 85%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is an M31 leather liner complete with all 8 fingers, the liner is complete with original liner-cord. The liner is dated 1943. The shell is marked with maker and size 'Q64' which indicates production by the 'F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H.' from Esslingen. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number 'DN37'. The helmet comes with its original leather chinstrap as found together. Nice untouched original Police helmet in good used condition!
