Waffen-SS 'Nordland' Collar Tab

Waffen-SS Collar Tab (Kragenspiegel) as intended for a member within the '11. SS-Freiwilligen-Panzer-Grenadier-Division 'Nordland'. The 11. SS-Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadier-Division Nordland was a Waffen-SS division that was founded in July 1943. The division fought in Poland, Croatia and the Battle of Berlin at the end of the war. In May 1945 the division surrendered to the Americans at the Elbe. The division's emblem was a rounded swastika in a circle as shown on the distinctive collar tab. The collar tab is machine embroidered in silver-grey thread on black wool, the collar tab is having a nice 'Buckram' backing. The collar-tab originates almost certainly from the SS clothing department at the Dachau KZ when liberated in 1945. Nice original collar tab in very good condition!
