Luftwaffe Single Decal M40 Combat Helmet

Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M40). The steel construction M40 helmet retains most of its rough textured,blue-gray paint and about 95% of the decal, during the application the swastika has been slightly moved. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is a M31 leather liner with all eight fingers intact, the leather is still supple, the liner is a size '57'. The liner is complete with full length drawstring. The shell is marked with maker and size 'Q64'. 'Q' is indicating production by the 'F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H.' in Esslingen. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped lot-number 'DN228'. Stunning original Luftwaffe helmet in very good condition!
