WH (Heer) Cavalry Boots

Nice pair of Wehrmacht (Heer) issue cavalry or mounted troops tall riding boots (Stiefel für Mannschaften der Kavallerie). Besides the helmet, the leather boot is probably one of the most instantly recognizable items of the German military. Nice high quality, light-brown construction tall leather cavalry boots, these where also very popular amongst officers. The boots are size '30' marked, there is also a manufacturer's marking on the sole but partly covered by the heel (Max ......). There are no hobnails attached, the cloth pull-loops are damaged. The boots are in only slightly used condition, the leather is still supple. Hard to find pair of Wehrmacht cavalry boots in good used condition!
