DD M40 Polizei Combat Helmet

Double Decal M40 'Polizei' Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M40). The stamped sheet steel construction M40 helmet retains almost all of its fieldgrey paint, the paint is showing scratches and normal traces of usage. Both decals are in very good condition with some minor damage and scratches caused by usage, both decals are present for about 85%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is an M31 thick pigskin leather liner complete with all 8 fingers, the liner is complete with original liner-cord. The liner is size '57' marked. The shell is marked with maker and size 'Q64' which indicates production by the 'F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H.' from Esslingen. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number 'T3337'. Hard to find original Polizei helmet in good untouched original condition!
