Camouflaged 'Mun.Geb.G.36' Ammunition Box

Camouflaged 'Mun.Geb.G.36' Ammunition Box (Munitionskiste), intended to hold 6 cartridges & grenades for the '7.5 cm Gebirgsgeschütz 36', this was a 7.5 cm German mountain gun used during the war, it was the standard light gun of the German Army & SS mountain divisions. The wooden box shows a beautiful early pre-war camouflage overpaint. The box is nicely maker marked and dated 1937. The box is sized approximately 60 x 39 x 24 cms. This will be a great addition to a diorama. Decorative original camouflaged ammunition box!
