Cased 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen'

Air Defence Honor Badge (Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2.Stufe). The Air Defence Decorations were instituted by Adolf Hitler on 30 January 1938, in two classes for award to German national personnel serving in the RLB (Reichs Luftschutz Bund), the SHD (Sicherheits und Hilfs Dienst), the Werkschutz, and the Ordnungspolizei, who had participated in the civil air defence of German from January 1933. The medal is the aluminum light weight version and is complete with its original confectioned ribbon. The details on the medal are really pronounced and stunning. The medal comes together with its original carton box. The box is in good used condition with some normal traces of usage and damage to the corners, see photos. Nice set in good used condition!
