Combat Engineers Explosive Assault Bag

This is a nice and scarce original German combat engineers explosive assault bag (Pionier Expolosive gepäck). The Assault Pack was introduced on 27 March 1941 and consisted of a central back pack and two attached side packs designed specifically for the unique engineering assault equipment and essential items. This is an extra bag which was carried with the carrying handle on top and was designed to hold additional explosive charges and equipment. The bag is made of an olive drab canvas, it is not visible maker marked or dated. Nice original example in good used condition!
