British MKII Paratrooper Helmet

British Airborne (Paratrooper) Helmet. The paint of the helmet looks like it has been repainted once, this looks period done, the helmet comes with original green British camouflage net as found together. The helmet is complete with its original liner and webbing chinstraps, the chin cup is complete with chamois lining. The size '7⅝' liner is nicely maker marked 'BMB' indicating production by the 'Briggs Motor Bodies Ltd.', the liner is dated 1944. All the rubber/foam parts are still very supple and flexible. The helmet is showing minor traces of usage. Stunning original 1944 dated British Airborne helmet which will be perfect for a Market Garden (Arnhem) display!
