Dutch 'Schalkhaar' Police Kepi

Dutch 'Schalkhaar' Police Kepi (Kepie der Staatspolitie), Model 1928.This is a nice black coloured Kepi as inteded for NCO's within the Dutch State Police (Staatspolitie), also known as the 'Schalkhaar' Police. This was a Police unit during the war, named after the place Schalkhaar near Deventer. In Schalkhaar was the training facility of the unit. This unit was controlled by the Dutch NSB (Nationaal Socialistische Beweging) movement.The kepi is complete with a blackened simulated leather chinstrap. The kepi is complete with its original metal cocarde and having the typical 'Schalkhaar' type buttons. The leather sweatband is in good used condition. The Kepi is not visible maker marked but shows an in my opinion early post-war theater stamp from a theater company 'Halbertsma' from Almelo. Nice original Kepi in good condition
