German 'Leuchtpistole 42'

Nice original German Flaregun - 'Leuchtpistole 42' (LP42). It is having two bakelite which are held in place by two screw head bolts. The pistol is bearing the manufacturer code 'wa' for the company of 'HASAG' Hugo Schneider AG., based in Leipzig. The pistol is nicely marked with the unique number '110162', the pistol also bears a 'WaA' marking. This is a functional pre-1945 produced flare gun, exempted by the Dutch law inArticle 18, paragraph 1, in d, annex II of the Rwm (Regeling Wapens en Munitie).
