US Current Era US Coast Guard Officers Sword and Carrier, Triple Etched Blade

Original era manufacture. A nice quality, very clean example of the regulation US Coast Guard officers sword. The triple etched, polished steel blade measures 31 inches in length, runs straight and true with no issues.Toledo Spain manufacture and so etched into the ricasso. Bright gilded brass guard and pommel cap, with a yellow molded plastic grip of imitation fishskin, bound with a single strand of twisted wire.Metal bodied scabbard covered in black leather with bright gilded fittings. Light age and wear overall. Comes complete with its issue sword knot, felt cover and leatherette storage case. Named on the blade to B.A. Farnsworth.
