Original period manufacture. An interesting notice of an inventory request, mailed to the Colt Patented Firearms Company of Harford Connecticut in 1883. The sender was the Schoverling, Daly & Gales firm of New York City They were notifying Colt of their request for 7 pistols to be sent to their firm. Nice little piece of postal history from one of the most famous gunmakers in the world.Typical handling and wear.
