WH (Heer) M35 DD Combat Helmet

Wehrmacht (Heer) Double Decal M35 Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M35). The stamped sheet steel construction M35 helmet retains most of its original early apple green paint, the paint is showing scratches and normal traces of usage and some minor surface rust. Both decals are in very good condition with some minor damage and scratches caused by usage, both decals are retained for about 95%. The Heer decal is a nice 'ET' factory decal typical for this manufacturer. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is a M31 leather liner with all eight fingers intact. The early liner is having a single aluminum liner ring. The original liner cord is present. The shell is marked with maker and size 'SE64' which indicates production by the 'Sächsische Emaillier und Stanzwerke A.G.' from Lauter. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number '2824'. The helmet is complete with an original leather chinstrap, complete with aluminum roller-buckle and studs, the long leather strap might have been replaced once. The chinstrap is not visible mared. Nice and honest original early WH (Heer) M35 DD Helmet in good condition!
