US Spanish American War Cabinet Card, Camp Cuba Libre 1898, Hospital Corps

Original period manufacture. A fine image of an Army Hospital Corps soldier in full marching order, taken at Camp Cuba Libre Florida in 1898. The man is shown in nearly complete equipage missing only his 1878 pattern Blanket Bag. The mount shows wear around the edges, and on the reverse there are numerous faded inscriptions which provide some hope for identification of the subject.
