Original era manufacture. Classic issue cup of the Indian and Spanish American Wars. Tinned steel with a US embossed into the top of the handle. Nearly all of the original tinned finish remains; one of the cleanest examples we have ever owned.At one time Bannerman & Company had 4,000 of these in stock and advertised them as being good for painters to use as paintcans.
