Original period manufacture. Hooked guard, flat bird-head pommel, contour grips with a blue finish blade surface. Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, operable lock button. Original finish wood grips, showing minor denting to the surface. Lightly dented steel scabbard, showing a matching finish of steel patina and blue. Clean bayonet.
